Fishermen Griffin – Acrylic on Canvas 15″ x 30″
My second portrait painting for December! Finished just in time to be given as a christmas gift. We journeyed to Arkansas for the holiday and I worked on it even more there… this was a hodge-podge temporary work station but it wasn’t half bad! See the resourcefulness below… the environment (read: guns in the background) set the masculine tone for the painting as well. The painting and my laptop (which had a reference image on it) were sitting on what looked to be very old wooden speakers. We borrowed the chair from my in-law’s den area. Also, the dolly gave off the smell of a shop, so that set the man-mood too.
