Tonight I decided to sketch a candid photo of my friend’s bride Jamie, during her wedding prep. I just thought the pose and lighting on this shot was quite striking. In retrospect, I did seem to fixate a little bit on the play of values. After I looked at the sketch and photo side by side, I came to the determination that I didn’t half out her face properly. Still a fun, quick drawing though. Glamor!
