I did a very quick sketch of my husband before we dashed out for a date at the movies. Through this I have reaffirmed my preference of drawing from photos rather than life. Posture changes gradually when drawing a live model –whether on their part or yours. I find it a lot easier to examine and replicate proportions and relationships when they are in a fixed, photographic state. 
PS: I love this man.
