Today’s sketch comes from a photo I took at my niece’s 2nd birthday party. Mason is my close friend’s nephew. I enjoyed sketching his more serious expression. Children are so mailable by their environment. What all lays behind those eyes? 
I think I subdued his expression a bit in my rendering.
